In exactly 27 days I commence a summer of living life as a Roman. It's like everything just became real to me. Before I realized that I was blessed with this opportunity and I was lucky, but it didn't seem real. Today, it is real to me. I am going to be grocery shopping in open air markets every week, getting the freshest Italian produce, interacting with the nonni who run the stalls and engulfing myself in everything that I love.
